In the past 19 years, i have seen some dirty tricks some dj's play to get more money thus giving us all a bad name...Below are some Tips and FAQ's you
should know...

YOUR TIP OF THE WEEK:

PAY EXTRA FOR A DJ ASSISTANT?

If your DJ needs an assistant, chances are your DJ either can't do
the party on their own or they want to get more $$$

In 2008, i did 54 events with 100% Satisfaction.

When your considering a dj, please keep these past tips in mind:

1- Ask about special discounts for paying in advance.

2- Are they INSURED?

3 - Will you get the person you spoke with or some kid with sub par equipment that
could ruin your day.

4 - Is overtime an option? and if so, how much?

5 - Any good company will have a land line NOT just a cell phone

6 - ALWAYS PAY by check! make sure you NEVER make it out to a person...ONLY a company.

7 - Are lights/fog included in the price?

8 - Do they use PROFESSIONAL gear?

9 - Do they burn songs off the internet?

10 - Is a gratuity included in the price? (Tips are based on PERFORMANCE).

11 - How many song do they have?

12 - Is there set-up/take down time included in the four hours?

If they answer "yes" to questions 9 or 12, or "no" to questions 2,3,OR 10, MOVE ON.

OUR ANSWERS TO FAQ'S:

Q: Why are your prices lower than others and what's the catch?

A: Unlike other companies, we do this for a living and do not
slam you with other charges for things because we include
EVERYTHING in our prices. Also, our production company
helps keep our d.j. prices low to save YOU money.

Q: Is your company insured?

A: YES! we are bonded and insured!

Q: Do you use professional equipment?

A: Yes...we use ONLY professional gear and upgrade once a year!

Q: Do you burn songs off the net?

A: NO...we have 35,000 songs From Jones TM who provides radio
stations with all the music they have..Weekly updates and all
your old favorites too all DIGITAL! 35,000 songs total.

Q: Is your music legal?

A: We are BMI/ASCAP licensed and if your event is in a public place,
even a hall, it is ILLEGAL to play songs, BMI or ASCAP without a
license. (We ALWAYS carry our BMI/ASCAP license with us.)

Q: Open Bar...FOR THE D.J. TOO??

A: Once again, no..it's unprofessional for a dj to get drunk at a gig..free water or pepsi is better.

Q: Is it rude not to tip a d.j.?

A: Tips are appreciated, but NOT Required. Tips run $40.00 to 75.00.

Q: Should i pay extra for lights?

A: Any good company will INCLUDE lights as part of the show.

Q: In my contract, it says "No Refund..Credit Only"...WHY?

A: If something goes wrong or you must cancel, we lose out on potenial gigs because we are contracted out with you.
